KDPika v3.3 - Bulk Image Importer

KDPika imports up to 100 folders of images into a PowerPoint (.pptx) file, allowing customization for each folder. Features include:

• Supported Image Formats: .SVG, .PNG, .JPG, .JPEG, .BMP, .GIF, .TIF, .TIFF
• Images per Slide: Choose from 1 to 40 images per slide for each folder.
• Titles and Numbering: Add titles and numbering above or below images, customize font size and color, and adjust the title box height. Subtitles can also be added (e.g., "Sudoku #1 (Easy)").
• Import Options: Import all images or select a specific number (e.g., import 50 images starting from image 10).
• Separate Settings: Configure settings separately for each folder, including image titles, image size, and title box height.
• Export/Import Settings: Easily export your configuration settings to a file and import them later. Note: Do not modify the settings file to ensure it works correctly when importing.
• Options for image sort order:
  • 1- Natural Sort: Sorts images in their natural order (based on filenames)
  • 2- Shuffle (Uniform): Shuffles images randomly, keeping the same order across all folders
  • 3- Shuffle (Per Folder): Shuffles images randomly within each folder independently

Additional features:

• Page Layout: Control page width, height, and margins (top, bottom, left, right), as well as spacing between images.
• Page Numbering: Add page numbering with customizable labels (e.g., "Page 1" or "Page 1 of 100") and subtitles similar to titles. Control placement, and customize color, font, and size. Choose to add page numbers to blank pages or not.
• Slide Backgrounds: Change the background color, add an image background with options to match colors or use grayscale, and decide whether to add the background to blank pages.
• Titles and Quotes: Add titles or quotes to all slides using a CSV file, with options to customize color, font, and position (top or bottom). Choose to add titles to blank slides or not.
• Slide Formatting: Add internal margins, choose page direction (left-to-right for English or right-to-left for Arabic), and add blank pages at the start, end, or between slides.
• File Saving: Save each image folder in a separate file or compile all folders into one file. Save settings for future use or restore default settings anytime.
• Language Support: Select from 15 languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, German, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Thai).
• User Interface: Choose from a range of themes to suit different preferences.

For example, if you're creating a Sudoku puzzle book, KDPika allows you to place 4 puzzles on each page with titles and numbering at the top of each image. At the end, you can place 6 solutions per page, adding titles and numbering to each solution. Manually, this would take a lot of time and effort, but with KDPika, it only takes seconds.

New Feature: Folder Alternation

KDPika now includes a simple feature called Folder Alternation, which allows you to mix pages from multiple image folders in any order you choose.

What This Feature Does

Instead of importing each folder one by one, you can now create alternation sets.
Folders inside the same set will be imported in an alternating order (one image from each folder, repeating).

Why This Is Useful

This is perfect when your project contains related folders, such as:

• puzzles + clues
• questions + answers
• worksheets + solutions
• different styles or difficulty levels

You can choose exactly which folders should alternate together, and which folders should stay separate.

How to Use It (Very Simple)

1. Select your image folders as usual.
2. Click the button “Manage Folder Alternation.”
3. A window will open showing all selected folders.
4. Create a new alternation set by clicking “New Set.”
5. Choose any folder from the list and click “Add Folder to Set.”
6. Repeat to add more folders into the same set.
7. If you want multiple alternation sets, just create another one.
8. Use Move Up and Move Down to control the final order.
9. Click Generate — and KDPika will import your folders exactly in the order you defined.

Examples

• Example 1: Alternate folders 1 + 2 + 3, then import folders 4 and 5 normally.
• Example 2: Alternate folders A + B, then alternate C + D, then import E normally.
• Example 3: Just alternate folder 1 and folder 2, ignore the rest.
